Chinese Gender Calendar

According to the Chinese gender calendar, my friends who birthed babies this month were supposed to have boys. And we all did.

I’ve heard many say that the Chinese gender calendar is freakishly accurate. And I’d have to agree.

Please welcome the “closer” of the November Due Date Club – Andrés. Born Thursday, December 2. Congrats, Lisa and Bryan!

Bryan – I can’t believe you have a kid. We need to arrange for Ridley and Andrés to have some Pangeos “Bow Tie Ballet” during Homecoming when they are older.

For those of you who did not attend Baylor, or for those of you who did but did not have a cafeteria meal plan well into your senior year, Pangeos was the pasta place in the boys’ dorm and Bow Tie Ballet was their most delicious dish.

Bryan would always save the same table for us next to Pangeos in the cafeteria. Bryan would sit through both lunch hours to socialize. This table was like the couch in Central Perk or the booth in How I Met your Mother, but instead of a bar, our table was at a dry, evangelical campus. And instead of scotch, we’d have highball glasses of Dr. Pepper.

According to the Chinese gender calendar, Baby Graves 2.0 will be a little brother to Colin. I wonder if it will be right!

Have to dispute your choice of best Pan Geos pasta.

It was either the pumpkin/bacon one or the pork/marinara/capers one. Bowtie is pretty far down the list for me 😉

I forgot about the capers. Good point, Matt.
