It’s the most wonderful time of the liturgical year!

Sunday is Palm Sunday, the first day of Holy Week.  Communities around the world will remember Christ’s Passion with liturgy, music, and prayer.  Get excited!  Even if you aren’t religious, this is still the week when we remember the most famous story of one of the most famous people ever. If Jesus isn’t the most famous person ever, I’d at least put him in the top five.  The Prophet Muhammad, Gandhi, Hitler, and the “Kittens Inspired by Kittens” girl are giving him a run for his money.  I digress …

I encourage you to attend Holy Week services.  Holy Week tells a story – the greatest one ever told, I hear – and if you miss Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services, you could be robbing yourself of experiencing the full magic that Easter brings.  We are Easter people!  Celebrate the miraculous events that lead to Christianity … and then have a cup of coffee. 🙂

Hosanna!
