Hollis needs a job!

Border collies are working dogs.  Hollis’ dad is an agility dog and climbs ladders and stuff. I live in a city and I don’t have sheep.  Can you please help me think of jobs for my sweet dog?  Here are what we have brainstormed thus far:

1. Getting the paper

2. Frisbee

3. Running with us

4. Getting beer out of the refrigerator

    Chase’s jobs are:
    1) Sleeping 20 hours a day
    2) Getting hyper/excited when someone new comes over for 5 minutes then crashing
    3) Getting hyper/excited for a treat, eating it in 0.3 seconds then crashing
    4) Pulling all his toys out and scattering them about the living room and office.
    5) Looking pitiful/neglected/malnourished to garner attention (which usually works)

I think his next job will be to learn how to put his toys away. Maybe Hollis can learn that too?

Sounds like Chase and Hollis would be good friends!

Putting his toys away – that’s good. Thanks B.

One of Mac’s jobs is cuddling – and I must say he is quite good at it!

    Hi Mrs. Hilary,

I am Chloe, we met when you came to my house for the football game. I have a sister and our jobs include barking at pedestrians, getting our bellies rubbed, and keeping our parents warm at night.

I hope this has been helpful.

    Hollis stay entertained by:

Having a leaf-eating contest with Elton. Elton is small but he can go through a pile of leaves very quickly.

Retrieving balls…you could get a tennis ball launcher and then he could bring them all back form the other side of the yard.

Completing the Metrics Report…can he use Office 07?

Oh Saltimbocca, I haven’t even been able to figure out Office 07. Why did they have to screw so severly with Excel? I’ve been trying to make a pivot table for about 2 months now. Take back your infinite rows and give me a helpful nav bar!!
